  LIFE SAVER It's Sat evening and I get a panicked call from my wife that there's no water in the house.  I rush home and confirm that the water tank is empty.  I call the number on the Slater Bros sticker on the water tank that the previous homeowner must have used.  Lucky for me Doug Slater, owner, answered my call. Instead of pushing for an emergency service call, Doug walked me through patiently to troubleshoot the well pump.  He told me it's most likely a blown fuse.  He gave me his cell number so I can text him pictures of the pump box set up.  He walked me through how to replace the fuse and told me which local hardware store around my house is till open to purchase the part. Sure enough changing a $3 fuse made the pump to work again.  Whereas other companies would have charged at least $200 to come out, Doug took his time on Sat night to help me out.  I highly recommend Slater Bros in North Haledon. Steve K
